Is it specific of women to?
Very broad question with generalization that is not accurate. Not all women do this, and yes some men will change their behaviors as well for the benefit of themselves or for the attention of a woman after watching another man get the attention or adoration that they desire. It is not a case of trying to copy or necessarily a low self esteem issue, but a personality defect of being a "leader" or a "follower." People differ from one another, but influence can change a persons perspective/ behavior in social situations. What separates man and woman alike from a copy-like behavior is your personal self worth and strength in what you believe. Men seem to need less attention and voicing than woman, but still men do follow suit of other men as well. Women tend to have a social circle that appeals to them within their social stature and there is usually a leader of the social circle which is followed by the others of the group. However, when putting this "social circle" into a working environment of men you find a similar situation. Thumbs down if you disagree.
