Does he knows its me?or is he telling the truth?

okk ive been texting this guy i like and i told him that it was a different girl(i made her up) and when we first started texting he started flirting with me but then he stopped after a while and here and there he would say'we should go out! ha ha jk jk:) we got to know each other first' cause like i said i made her up and he has never really seen her, so i told him that (i was pretending to be brenda lopez at that time) i(me) were step sisters but we lived in different places, then finally i had the courage to tell him(brenda lopez) why he liked me so much, and he said cause, he felt like he knew me some how and it was a good feeling to him.....so yea im kinda scared/confused i dont really know if he has been playing dumb and knew it was me or he just really doesnt know...by the way we are in middle school :p
