GH: Is anybody else ready for Brenda....?

I looked forward for years to Brenda's return but this time has really been a disappointment. The way they've written her character, the situations they've put her in, the lack of real passion and intensity between her and Sonny... But, for me, the last straw was when she told Suzanne the other day that she had decided to have a DNA test run on Lucien. Bad enough that she just took Suzanne's word for it when she suddenly presented her with her "son", bad enough that she let her back into her life after years of lies and false friendship but why couldn't she have shown just a little restraint and kept quiet for once? And now when the truth comes out that Suzanne took Lucien how much proof will she need to believe it? I truly wish that things had been different but, unless they start writing better for her in the time that's left, I won't be too disappointed when she leaves.
