Is she just mad at me or is it something more?

So my friend Brenda has been acting distant towards me lately and won't really talk to me, she has also been really clingy to my friend Ashley and is always hugging her or putting her arm around her. Ashley is like my BEST friend and she says that she has been noticing it too. We all used to be very clingy until Ashley's boyfriend George started telling us how clingy we are and it is weird. Me Ashley and Kaitlyn changed, has Brenda just not changed? Also when we were at Kaitlyn's house Brenda suggested that we play spin the bottle, because she played it with her friend Maggie who lives out of state. Plus every time we would take a break from the game she would say how good of friends we are to kiss each other and not feel awkward, and that it is fine because we know that we are all straight. I asked Ashley and she said that she felt awkward too. I'm trying to decipher if she is mad at me or if she is lesbian and has a crush on Ashley.
